* Velvet Rut traveled to Pierre, SD to play our outdoor wedding and they blew everyone away! We could not be more satisfied with choosing Velvet Rut to play our wedding. Making decisions online without seeing a band live was a bit nerve racking, especially for something as big as the entertainment for our wedding, but Velvet Rut put us at ease from the beginning. They were professionals in every detail, from communicating their needs and timeframe for travel, to accommodating requests and working the crowd. Our dance floor was PACKED!!! * After seeing the setlist these guys have, I didnt think they would be as good as they were. Actually, I was a little scared until they played their first song. They kept everyone entertained and on there feet. Their musicianship was second to none. They werent too loud and they were true professionals in every way. * An absolutely phenomenal evening. The wedding was at a country club in Denver, and we wanted to go with a rock band, as opposed to the typical "wedding band". There were 150 people in attendance. The wedding goers (of all ages) raved about their song selection and they were very professional, showed up well on time, and proceeded to play a 3 hour set of great 70's, 80's, and 90's rock, but with unique twist to it. We asked them to learn a few songs, which they did, and they were performed brilliantly, The flow and groove had people dancing all night. The band is savvy enough to know the acoustics of the room, and played at a perfect volume. Great Band! -- John L, San Jose, CA
